Hearkening back to the splendor of King Louis the Fourteenth’s France, this chamber opera marshals personifications of the arts to promote peace over discord. William will be singing the role of “Painting” in this classic French Baroque piece, and will also be performing several works by Henry Purcell as a guest artist with Chicago’s renowned Vox 3 Collective (now celebrating their 10th anniversary season).
This performance is part of the ongoing Early Music program at the Byron Colby Barn in Grayslake, IL, a theater of the perfect scale to be transported back to baroque times, albeit more rustic!
Tickets 20 $, available at the door.
